Business Compass helps business owners connect their own business tools, analytics accounts, and marketing accounts so they can view operational signals in one workspace. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to contact us.

Information We Collect

Account information, such as name, email address, organisation name, and role.
Workspace information entered by users, such as business profile, tasks, bookings, CRM notes, and content plans.
Integration data that users choose to connect, such as analytics metrics, ad account performance, search data, form submissions, bookings, and sales events.
Technical information needed to operate the service, such as authentication tokens, audit logs, error logs, and connection status.

Meta Platform Data

If you log in with Meta, Business Compass may request read-only access to advertising and page performance data such as impressions, clicks, spend, leads, engagement, and account identifiers. We use this data only to show marketing performance inside the connected organisation workspace.

We do not sell Meta data. We do not use Meta data to build unrelated profiles. We do not post content, send messages, or change ads unless a future feature clearly asks for permission and the user approves it.

How We Use Information

To provide dashboards, summaries, reports, and connected business workflows.
To authenticate users and keep organisation workspaces secure.
To sync data from services that users choose to connect.
To diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
To comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.

Sharing

We only share information with service providers required to run Business Compass, such as hosting, database, authentication, and integration infrastructure. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service, users, or the public.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep data while an organisation account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Users can request deletion using the instructions at businesscompass.uk/data-deletion.
